Sweet Summer Time
Hello lovelies,
Summer is among us!! It’s my favorite season - from beach days and BBQ’s to swim sessions with my kiddos and cool LA summer nights, there’s something about this season that brings me endless amounts of joy.
Summer time calls me to slow down, to end work early and enjoy the extra long day of sunlight. It calls me to eat more fresh fruits and veggies. Have more farmers market trips. More beach days and salted hair. It makes me want to wear light airy clothes from Neu Nomads and comfy easy to slip on shoes from Rothy’s. It makes me want to spend time outside with my kids on walks and playing in shadey spots. Summer is about coming home to myself and my family.
Here are some of the brands that keep me THRIVING during these summer days. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! And here is a super simple yummy salad recipe that’s bright and fresh! Perfectly paired with some grilled veggies and/or protein!
Now go #beyourbestself
Xoxo, Amy

Summer Bean & Herb Salad
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 Head of Radicchio
• 1 Pound of Green Beans
• Bunch of Parsley
•Lemon
•Maldon salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
Rinse all the Veggies.
Chop off and throw away the ends of the green beans. Blanch in boiling water for two minutes. Put in ice bath. Let cool. Then chop green beans in halves or thirds (it’s really up to you) and toss in a salad bowl.
Chop half to a full head of Radicchio and toss in.
Chop a decent handful of parsley and add to salad.
Mix up Amy’s Go-To Vinaigrette from one of my favorite posts from last summer and toss into salad. Finish with an extra squeeze of lemon and Maldon salt.
•Fun ideas for extra toppings: olives, grated pecorino or parmesan cheese, avocado, cucumber, garbanzo beans
